Gore Criticizes Bush's Global Warming Plan

President Bush's voluntary plan to reduce global warming gases has been criticized by opponents including Al Gore.
"President Bush outlined a voluntary plan Thursday to slow the growth of global warming gases in place of the mandatory cuts demanded by the widely accepted Kyoto treaty he rejected last year as harmful to the U.S. economy.Advocates for stronger action immediately attacked the proposal as insufficient to stop what they see as an inexorable climb in the earth's atmospheric temperature tied to 'greenhouse gases' such as carbon dioxide emitted by power plants and automobiles."
