NJ Governor To Create Council On Sprawl

Governor McGreevey will create a new planning task force to implement the state development plan.
"The council on sprawl will bring together land use experts from several state agencies in a single unit answering directly to the governor and working out of his State House office... Environmental advocates, who feared McGreevey was abandoning his campaign pledge to check suburban growth, welcomed the idea."
