Wear your city with style!

Pierre Charles L'Enfant laid out the unique grid of Washington, D.C. in 1791, founding a new city on the Potomac.

In L'Enfant's design, grand avenues criss-cross the grid, dotted by grand circles and plazas. The plan was controversial and L'Enfant was sacked, but many of his ideas still made it through. You too can be an iconoclast wearing this unique city plan scarf featuring the historic core of D.C.
