The Future Of FHA And Multifamily Finance

What does the future hold for theFHA and what about the credit subsidy "problem?"
Since it came into existence in 1934 with the passage of the NationalHousing Act, the Federal Housing Administration has played a major role in the real estate industry. By insuring mortgages and providing the real estate sector access to much needed capital, the FHA stimulatedconstruction activity to "get America moving again", a refrain that has a familiar ring to it. But what does the future hold for the FHA and what about the credit subsidy "problem?"
