New Urbanism Comes To Twin Cities Suburb

Despite costs 10-20% higher than traditional suburban planning, city planners have adopted a new urbanist approach.
"Chaska city leaders took an unusual step for a developing suburb when they decided a year or so ago that the city had enough big-buck housing... That decision set the city on a path toward a development now under construction that will include both New Urbanist design and housing units affordable to people with moderate incomes."
