Restoring Southern California's Last Natural River System

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service prepares a proposal to rehabilitate a 16-mile stretch of the Santa Clara River that supports threatnened species.
"A draft proposal developed by Fish and Game and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service was released Wednesday. Environmental officials hope the plan will help rehabilitate one of the last natural river systems in Southern California."
