Strolling Among the Tree Tops

Stacey at Gardenista has collected images and descriptions of four sublime "canopy walks" that "make it easy to walk from tree to tree at an altitude typically reserved for birds."

"Blending innovative design with natural surroundings," the gravity-defying pathways winding through tree canopies in the Morris Arboretum at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and the valley between the Whistler and Blackcomb ski mountains in British Columbia, "offers unusual aerial views of the trees, animals, ground, and sky."
