A new redevelopment plan for downtown Pittsburgh, PA, aims to avoid past mistakes.
"Key elements of "Plan C" for Downtown Pittsburgh's Fifth and Forbes avenues include no use of eminent domain; downtown housing; reusing historic, albeit rundown buildings; and incremental redevelopment, instead of the demolish-and-build approach previously proposed in the Mayor's controversial Market Place plan."
