Pavers sound like a pretty dull subject, but The Dirt showcases some interesting uses for the paving materials:

"(A) new town hall square in Solingen, Germany, by German firm scape Landschaftsarchitekten, is an "urban living room" for the municipal workers in the surrounding building. Again, a bold geometric pattern is used to create a striking landscape.
