The subject of a television series to be aired in 2013, PBS has unveiled its list of the top ten buildings that have "changed the way Americans live, work and play," reports Karissa Rosenfield.

"From Thomas Jefferson's 224-year-0ld Virginia State Capitol to Robert Ventui's postmodern masterpiece the Vanna Venturi House, each building on the list will be featured in a new TV and web production coming to PBS in 2013," writes Rosenfield.

Other buildings on the list include Trinity Church in Boston, designed by H.H. Richardson (1877), the Wainwright Building in St Louis, designed by Louis Sullivan (1891), and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, designed by Frank Gehry (2003).
