Indiana's Environmentally Sensitive Housing

A developer with a novel business plan develops environmentally sensitive housing in Indiana.

"[An] environmentally sensitive farm-based development in northwest Indiana...takes advantage of a growing demand for community, kinship and distinctive homes amid wide-open natural spaces. Tryon Farm, at the eastern edge of Michigan City...is also distinguished by a novel business plan that is satisfied with a much slower home construction and sales pace than conventional subdivisions. That's due in part to the fact that Tryon Farm is really a family enterprise, conceived by a Chicago-based architect.. [the family oversees] virtually every aspect of ownership, architectural design, financing, land management and home construction."
