State Panel Approves Bolsa Chica Restoration Plan

The California Coastal Commission approved a $100 million restoration plan for the Bolsa Chica wetlands in Southern California.
The California Coastal Commission (http://www.coastal.ca.gov/web) approved a $100 million restoration project for the Bolsa Chica wetlands in Southern California. These wetlands once provided habitat for many species of fish and birds, but it has since turned into an> oil field. The approved project will allow the ocean to reconnect with the wetlands in order to bring back the essential wildlife habitat.
