Competition To Design WTC Memorial

The World Trade Center owners are suggesting a competition to select the design of a memorial site.
"Larry A. Silverstein told a gathering of the Real Estate Board of New York last week that he has received thousands of telephone calls, letters and e-mails with ideas. A juried selection of the memorial design would allow people from all over the country to participate, Silverstein said. "
