The New York Power Authority is offering $199 monthly leases on electric cars to 100 New York commuters.
TH!NK, a pilot program of the New York Power Authority, the Long Island Power Authority, and Ford Motor's green car division, is offering $199 monthly leases on electric cars for 100 New York commuters. According to thearticle, TH!NK's all-electric commuters to Manhattan will create a mere 10 percent of the emissions of a similar trip with a gasoline-powered vehicle.
