Supporting Passenger Rail Is In The National Interest

Dick Williams says supporting passenger rail is in the national interests and presents a proposal for a "travel czar."
"It is a most unconservative point of view to urge aid for passenger rail, but events have shown it is in the national interest -- and that private industry isn't able or interested... The future is likely to show us that rail travel isn't just romantic memory of white tablecloths and surging locomotives. It is common sense. So herewith, a modest proposal."
