Mall Developer Loses One Round

Debate about the placement of a mall next to historic battlefield continues.
This is part of an ongoing controversy about the placement of a 1.2 million sq. ft. regional mall directly adjacent to the newly created Fallen Timbers Battlefield National Historic Site. The battlefield was purchased by a partnership of Ohio, Federal, Maumee City, and private funds. Mall opponents are hoping to stop the project entirely.
