Black Involvement In Environmental Movement Increases

Increased number of African-Americans are joining the environmental movement.
"Environmentalism has been considered the territory of mostly white communities with money and time on their hands. And black leaders have generally overlooked environmental conservation as a top priority. But that way of thinking began to change relatively recently as blacks have gotten involved in significant and organized numbers in land conservation issues, preservation and land-trust. "
