Good planning is attracting young hipsters to cities throughout the world, writes Christopher F. Schuetze.

The International Herald Tribune compiles a list of the best international cities that are attractive to young professionals because of their "hip vibe" and good planning. "This survey is not based solely on quality of life, number of trees or the cost of a month's rent. Instead, we examine some cities that aim to be both smart and well managed, yet have an undeniably hip vibe."
