Chemical Foul Play Near Houston

A five-year study finds that two chemical companies near Houston have been releasing benzene into the air.
A five-year study by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission found that two chemical companies just 60 miles from Houston have been releasing unacceptable amounts of benzene into the air. Environmentalofficials suffered headaches and vomiting while collecting air samples, and are considering levying fines against the companies. The two chemical companies deny the charges.
