Executives Told To "Pack Suitcases" For Libyan Infrastructure Boom

Tripoli Airport and Misrata hospital are the first specific projects to be named, as western governments begin to release frozen assets to the National Transition Government (NTI) and international corporations spot an opportunity.

The UK Department of Trade and Investment is working with the NTI to find European firms and planners that can play a role in rebuilding Libyan Infrastructure. British defense secretary Philip Hammond last week urged executives to "pack their suitcases," and head for Libya.

Meanwhile, architects have warned the Libyan government not to give way to untrammeled.
