At a recent press conference, ubiquitous Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood told reporters he'd leave his post at the end of Obama's first term.
The Wall St. Journal's Josh Mitchell was there:
"The exit of top administration officials after an election cycle is expected, but Mr. Lahood's announcement took on an unusual twist when he also said he hasn't yet told Mr. Obama of his plans."
