A Perfect Laneway in Saskatoon

Paul Hanley gets excited about the worldwide trend towards turning "laneways" - alleys, in U.S.-speak - into great urban spaces.

Hanley sees a trend for "livable laneways" stretching from Vancouver to Melbourne, and fantasizes about revitalizing laneways in Sasketoon.

"Public art and parties seem to be key ingredients in alley makeovers," writes Hanley.
