The Home Depot takes its case directly to voters for a new store in Mountain View, California.
"The Home Depot wants Mountain View voters to decide whether it should be allowed to build a new home-improvement center near Highway 85 and El Camino Real, a project both the city council and neighbors have blocked for years.The company plans to circulate a petition for a ballot initiative that would rezone the old Emporium shopping center site so Home Depot could build a store there."
