Colorado: Sprawl Is Top Issue

Colorado lawmakers are feeling heat on the issue of growth control.
"The stakes are high for the second special session of 2001, and the politicians are under pressure to overcome the growth meltdown of just four months ago. Polls showed the public was unhappy with both political parties, from Gov. Bill Owens on down, for aligning too closely with special interests and avoiding middle ground."
