Useful Degree?

What's a useful Bachelors degree for Urban Planning? Public Administration? There is a minor at my school for Urban Planning (University of Miami) but what should my major be since a major is not offered? I plan on going for my Masters in Urban Planning in grad school.

re: useful degree
Hey there,
It depends on the type of urban planning you'd like to do. Almost any major can be applicable-- it depends on your degree concentration and the way you apply your knowledge. I have an MCP, but my undergrad majors were geography and philosophy. (I do environmental planning now, but I'm also interested in community planning and public space.) Friends in my grad program had varied undergrad majors-- enviro engineering, economics, and history, among others.
So: good news-- it's tough to make a wrong decision.
