University Protects Trees By Restricting Parking

Michigan State University has implemented new parking restrictions aimed at protecting old trees on campus.
"Michigan State University's new parking policy is aimed at protecting the roots of its oldest and biggest trees...The university's goal is to limit soil compaction, which it said is slowly killing some of the oldest, largest and most beautiful trees on campus."
