Courtin' Participation With a Bluegrass Music Video

To kick off its Legacy Plan update process, the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, NC planning board made a music video featuring an original song, a bluegrass band and some familiar scenes.

To inspire their community to participate in a plan update, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, NC planners went multimedia, creating an interactive website, a film series, and to kick things off, a bluegrass music video.

The lyrics begin:

"Downtown is happenin', with new restaurants and bars
People walkin', strollin', getting out of their cars
Offices and a shops, and even a new ballpark
People coming downtown even after dark."
