Transit Projects Ride On Vancouver Olympics Bid

Vancouver's Olympic bid has politicians pushing their favorite transit proposals.

"When it comes to Olympic legacies, Vancouver Councillor Gordon Price would rather see streetcars running around downtown Vancouver than a subway to Richmond and the airport.While there is no guarantee that Vancouver-Whistler will get the Games -- or even be among the front-runners -- politicians are using the bid to push for a variety of pet projects, especially ones involving transportation."
