Orange County, CA Faces More Development

With ever higher rents and low vacancy levels, Orange County's only choice may be to move ahead with more development if it wants to house its work force.
"Renters like Brandon Fipps exemplify the problem facing Orange County. While Fipps struggles to afford his rent, he wonders whether there's already been too much development...He rues the fact that the county has experienced so much growth. Perhaps, he said, there ought to be limits on development...Though some residents may not like it, building more apartments is the simplest answer to the housing crunch, said Esmael Adibi, an economist at Chapman University."
