Construction Begins on St. Paul Transportation Hub
20 January 2011 - 7:00am
Work begins at the Union Depot, restoring the historic building into a transportation hub for light rail, buses, taxis and bikes and pedestrians.
Chris Havens at the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that construction is underway:
"The vision is that light rail, passenger rail, bus lines, taxis, bicycles and pedestrians will all converge at the depot. It's the last stop for the planned Central Corridor light-rail line, a $957 million project that is expected to be completed in 2014."
