"Don't Sleep In The Subway, Darling"....or else

No, this is not a video of Petula Clark, but do take her message to heart. Rats are not just on the subway tracks - occasionally they hop a ride too, so riders beware - stay awake! Caught on tape...

"A fellow rider caught a rat on video crawling freely through a subway car on the Number 4 train, and posted the video on YouTube." (below)

When interviewed by NY1 for an explanation, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman wisely used it as an opportunity to ask riders to "dispose of trash properly".

Listen to NY1 broadcast with the video. After viewing, you might want to calm down by listening to PETULA CLARK- "DON'T SLEEP IN THE SUBWAY".
