Historic Preservation with the Muppets

The plot of a new Muppets movie in the works is said to focus largely around historic preservation issues, according to this post from Curbed LA.

"Via Geek Tyrant, the synopsis, which draws naturally on development and preservation themes. Basically, the couple--the female is played by actress Amy Adams (pictured)--visit LA to discover a plot to drill for oil under the Muppet Theater, a move which would mean razing the Muppet Theater."

The Muppets apparently rally together to try to save their historic theater. The film is expected to be released in November.
