No New Urbanism In My Back Yard

The Lennox Village project in Nashville draws inspiration from New Urbanism but some residents are opposed to the concept.
"New Urbanism developments like Lenox Village are heralded around the country as an alternative to ordinary suburban developments with their cul-de-sacs and strip malls.""New Urbanism, as I understand it, requires some sort of reliable mass transit. And there is no mass transit to speak of in Nashville."
