Housing Is Essential To Economic Revitilization

CNN fn's Market Call interviews ULI President Richard Rosan on federal housing policy.
The National Association of Realtors says the sales of U.S. existing homes slipped in June to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.33 million units from a revised rate of 5.36 million units in May. The rate exceeded analysts' expectations for a 5.3 million unit sales pace. So, why are we focusing on the housing sector? Richard Rosan, president of the Urban Land Institute says housing, especially in our urban areas, is essential to economic revitalization.
