Condo Residents Face Parking Crunch
31 July 2001 - 5:00am
Younger residents, living a lifestyle calling for more than one car per household face parking shortages when they move into condos designed for older residents with one car.
"All you want to do is get home and jump into bed after a hard day's work, but first, you have to park your car. And for many folks living in older South Florida condominiums, that's becoming a hassle. Those buildings were designed for older people who usually had just one car. For economic and lifestyle reasons, young adults are moving in greater numbers into condominiums and association controlled developments, and with them usually come two or three cars."
