A New Dimension in Luxury: Down

Terra Vivos is a luxury community built entirely underground, and it can withstand a blast from a nearby 50-megaton nuclear bomb. Arnie Cooper takes a tour.

The original structure was built by AT&T in 1965 to protect telephone infrastructure, but now could house up to 135 people.

Robert Vicino, the man behind the project, says that the bunker is "compact but luxurious, like being on a cruise ship."

Terra Vivos is just one of a network of bunkers Vicino has planned.
