Researchers at Tufts University concludes that sprawl increases affordability of housing, and closes racial differences in homeownership.
""Sprawl is likely to increase affordability in both the suburbs and the center cities... This study suggests that opposing sprawl equates to opposing economic advancement for black families, affordable housing and an improved economy."
