The American Society of Landscape Architecture's blog reports on some of the art woven into 100 Acres:
"On the lake, there's also 'Indianapolis Island,' a fiberglass igloo created by artist Andrea Zittel that bobs itself around untethered. In summer months, visitors can access it via rowboat, and art student are even working within the igloo, creating installations of their own."
100 Acres is a project of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, which says that the park "presents art projects, exhibitions and discussions designed to strengthen the public's understanding of the unique, reciprocal relationships between contemporary art and the natural world."
