Award-winning Landscape Architect Dies

M. Meade Palmer, professor, landscape architect, and winner of national design awards died of a heart attack.
"Mr. Palmer was also professor emeritus of landscape architecture at the University of Virginia...He was chairman of the council of fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects and first vice president of the society. He was an adviser to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, American Horticultural Society and National Park Service
