Will Los Angeles Break Up Into Smaller Cities?

The neighborhoods of Los Angeles, CA, will play an important role in determining if the "City of Angels" will break up into smaller cities.
"Secessionists in the San Fernando Valley and the Harbor area hope to break up the city with a public vote next year. Meanwhile, residents and city officials opposed to a divorce are touting the city's novel new system of neighborhood councils as an antidote to the secessionists' cause."
