What Makes The Best Main Streets?
14 July 2001 - 10:00am
A development team from Rancho Cucamonga, CA travels across the country to evaluate what makes the best main streets.
"The project would create an instant downtown reminiscent of successful and distinct city centers from across the country, but with elements unique to Rancho Cucamonga. 'Our team traveled across America and to other continents to evaluate what made main streets special and what makes some more successful than others,' said Brian Jones, president of Forest City Development, which is working with Upland-based Lewis Operating Corp. to develop 75 acres of grapevines and scrub into the city's downtown."
