"Not Only Hi-Tech, It's Also Lederhosen"

Munich returns to the top of Monocle's most liveable cities for 2010. According to Monocle, Munich is a place where "wealth and prosperity are reinvested in transport, infrastructure and environmental initiatives."

Munich is a diverse hub in the center of Europe with a heterogeneous economic makeup that allows it to succeed in competition with London, Berlin, and Zurich among others. Through revising it's housing infrastructure the city has managed to attract creatives back to the city to sustain a viable subculture. Here the most successful planning has been measured, considerate and "focused on architecture with a human scale."
