Property Rights Win In Supreme Court

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled 5-4 for a property owner in a closely watched takings case from Rhode Island.
"The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled 5-4 for a property owner in a closely watched takings case from Rhode Island. The court found that the landowners claim was "ripe" for adjudication and that he could seek compensation for land-use regulations imposed on the property before he acquired the site."
