Is the battle for Californian's state water rights turning ugly?
"[S]ome believe the fragile compromise worked out among various California factions -- Northern and Southern Californians, farmers, cities, environmentalists and others -- is in danger of unraveling as various interests ply lawmakers to get what they didn't get in last year's agreement."
