Called Chicago B-cycle, the program will start with 100 bikes at six stations around the city. The program will be membership-based, with fees ranging from $35-55 for 30-90 days. Members are given membership cards which serve a double purpose as a bike lock key.
B-cycle has a pilot program already in operation in Denver.
