The Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) and the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) are pleased to announce the release of a Request for Development Proposals (RFP) for the Dunbar Hotel and Somerville Apartments, three separate properties located at 4201-4263 South Central Avenue. This RFP represents a unique opportunity to revitalize a key intersection of the Central Avenue Corridor, one of the most historically and culturally rich areas of South Los Angeles.

CRA/LA and LAHD are seeking one developer to rehabilitate all three properties, preserving long-term affordability for families and seniors, and bringing renewed vitality to Central Avenue. The full text of the RFP can be found at CRA/LA's website.

A mandatory pre-submittal conference and site tour will be held July 7th at 10:00 am in CRA/LA’s Board Room, 354 South Spring Street, 6th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90013. If you have any questions, please direct them to Will Cipes, Assistant Project Manager, CRA/LA at: (213) 977-1710 or wcipes@cra.lacity.org.
