Does 'Grand Theft Auto' Make People Bad Drivers?

A new study says that videogames like Grand Theft Auto that encourage reckless driving may make it more likely that one would drive recklessly in the real world.

According to the study, "Those who played Grand Theft Auto were about two times more likely to report tailgating and 1.7 times more likely to say they had been pulled over by the police. Also, those who played Manhunt were almost two times more likely to report crossing over double yellow lines."

Researchers were careful to point out that the study does not show causation, but merely an association between driving videogames and poor driving.
