Oakland Plans Massive Waterfront Redevelopment

The redevelopment of waterfront area in Oakland, CA, will cost $1.2 billion.
"When completed, restaurants and lofts will fill asphalt parking lots, Jack London Square will extend blocks beyond the current hub and a blighted neighborhood of warehouses will transform into a multimillion-dollar waterfront district."
