Armpit Of America?
5 July 2001 - 8:00am
Washington Post columnist Gene Weingarten is accepting nominations for the "Armpit of America."
"Today I issue a call for action. Send me your nominations for the place that is most deserving of the designation 'The Armpit of America.' In 100 words or fewer, explain your position. I will choose the No. 1 armpit, and purchase for the winning entrant an appropriate on-site souvenir."
