In this new hands-on course held in a PC computer lab, you’ll master essential skills for creating custom maps for reports, presentation, and websites.
Instruction covers core principles of geographic information systems (GIS), ESRI ArcGIS software, advanced techniques with Google My Maps and Google Earth, and how to design visually compelling maps. Taught by Yoh Kawano, MA in urban planning, UCLA; Campus GIS Coordinator, UCLA.
Course meets 12 Mondays, March 29-June 14, in Westwood, CA.
